Hi, I'm Ashley!
      I'm an Early Years Specialist with over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. Together with my team, I am deeply, wholeheartedly dedicated to inspiring every child I have the privilege of teaching and supporting them in reaching their full potential.

      My background spans in early years, with supervisor leadership and childcare/school age management, ECE college courses (yes, I teach aspiring educators too!), early intervention and resource consulting for children with exceptionalities, entrepreneurship, and social service work. Wearing many hats is my expertise and helps me gain the best, holistic view of how children learn through engagement, belonging, expression and well-being with themselves, families and the community.

      ELP started as a passion project, a reimagining of our childcare business that we owned, which we chose to close during COVID. What grew from that difficult moment was something we never expected; a warm, nurturing community where early learners don't just learn, but truly thrive.

      Working in leadership and early intervention gave me a front-row view of what matters most in early childhood education. The answer will always be the same: the children! Getting back to in-class work with our homeschool classes has been the most gratifying chapter of my career. Watching children fall in love with learning, in a space where they feel safe and seen, is exactly why I do this.
