ELP classes are developed and delivered by a team of certified professionals, including Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs), Ontario College of Teachers certified educators, early intervention strategists, resource consultants with experience in atypical behaviours and exceptionalities, combined with Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) strategies. Our team has real, frontline expertise with both gifted learners and neurodivergent children and we bring all of it to every single class.
The short answer: we tailor everything to your child and implement enrichment learning. Most programs teach to a group. We teach to your child by studying each learner's individual style, identifying how they absorb and process information best, and designing every lesson around that. Combined with 15+ years of proven strategies and a real understanding of the challenges children face today, including the effects of modern technology on developing minds, the results speak for themselves.
Absolutely, and this is one of the things we are most proud of at ELP. If needed, we offer 1:1 classes supporting children with diverse and complex learning needs, and we genuinely believe every child deserves an education that works for them. Please reach out so we can talk about your child and how we can best support them.
What is enrichment learning?
In our ELP philosophy, enrichment learning extends beyond the standard classroom curriculum to deepen knowledge, spark curiosity, and build advanced skills. This can often be confused with accelerated learning. While accelerated learning naturally happens with many of our children in our program organically, enrichment learning is more focused on giving children the oppertunity to get challenged and exposed to reach their personal, highest potential.Â
Yes to all of it! These classes are carefully curated with your early learner in mind, and what they can handle without over exerting them. Our weekly classes are designed to enrich and compliment your child's current learning journey at whatever stage they are in with FUN, individually tailored learning, peer connection, and a structured emotional intelligence curriculum without disrupting your family's routine. After teaching these classes for so many years, our team has mastered how to get children to be excited to come to class, even after full day. Think of it as an extracurricular class where your child feels safe, secure and eager beaver to attend! We also have many children that come to ELP as their primary and only form of learning, and they love it!
In-person classes run weekly in the GTA (Mississauga area). Virtual classes are coming soon so families everywhere can access the ELP experience from home. We know many families are stoked for the online classes in the comfort of their own home, as are we, please stay tuned!
Is this full day services or part-time?Â
Our in-person classes are currently 90 minutes once a week per cohort. Our interactive, live virtual classes will aim to be 30 minutes per cohort. We do not offer full-time services.
What is transition process for my child for in-person classes?
Every transition will look a little different for each child. These classes are children only. Parents/guardians pick up and drop off at the start and end of each class. The ELP team keeps in close communication on how tranisiton is going and if further support is needed. It's of the upmost importance to us that every child (and guardian!) feels safe and comfortable. Your child's first class is usually an assessment class, if a parent is needed during this time we will communicate prior to starting to work on a tranisiton plan that works best for all!
Head to our Contact page and fill out a quick form. We respond to every inquiry. The ELP team will reach out to chat with you about your child, walk you through available cohorts, and help you find the perfect fit!Â
"$50 a month felt too good to be true for the level of program Ashley described. Three months in and I am blown away. My daughter asks for ELP every single day. The weekly updates and progress conversations make me feel completely involved even when I'm not in the room. Completely worth it!"Â
"What I love most is that ELP doesn't just teach the children academics, they teach them how to handle their emotions too. My 4 YO has started naming his feelings at home, telling me when he needs a moment to relax. I did not expect a weekly class to have that kind of impact on our whole family. The ELP family is truly one of a kind."Â
"As a mom I've tried a lot of different classes and support for me child. ELP is in a completely different league. The updates and strategies I'm given class, the progress report at the end of the semester, the personal check-in after every single session it's clear that Ashley and the whole team genuinely cares about every child as an individual. My children have never loved learning more than they do right now!!!!!"
"I get emotional just talking about this experience, realizing that the ELP classes is really what my child needed this whole time. It's the kind of education that every child should have. I felt as though my child was always misunderstood in school, and after these classes my son is above average in all his subjects. Thankyou, ELP Team!"
